A vacancy has arisen for a
CHURCH YOUTH AND COMMUNITY WORKER
Royal Wootton Bassett [Methodist] and Purton [Anglican – Methodist LEP].
• A FULL TIME POST FOR A MINIMUM OF TWO YEARS FROM SEPTEMBER 2018 or SOON AS POSSIBLE THEREAFTER
• SALARY £21- £25,000 DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
• OWN TRANSPORT ESSENTIAL WITH WORK MILEAGE REIMBURSED
• IT IS AN OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENT THAT THE POST HOLDER IS A PRACTISING CHRISTIAN

We are looking for a person with a maturing faith, who is enthusiastic and a good communicator to play a lead role in the youth provision for the partnership churches across the areas of Royal Wootton Bassett and Purton and develop current practice into the community.
We wish to appoint a suitably gifted individual who will lead the provision and development of our Youth Work for upper primary and beyond. Building on the current work in these two communities and with a committed team of volunteers, our objective is to see young people come to a living faith in Jesus.
