We need to hear your comments on the Anglican-Methodist Covenant.

The Bristol District is one of several to volunteer to feed back to the Connexion what the Covenant and and how it is working out in terms of the District.

Comments wiil be welcome from those in the capacity of officers, ordained and lay, at District, Circuit of Local Church level or a personal view.

What is ecumenism and why is it important ? You can find out HERE.

Our ecumenical work is carried out on a regional basis linked to the  Churches Together in England (CTE) County Ecumenical Bodies that operate in the area coverd by the Bristol District. These regions are Gloucestershire, Greater Bristol, Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire. Each one has a Methodist  Assistant Ecumenical Officer and their work is co-ordinated by the District Ecumenical Officer. These and a few other Officers may meet occasional as the District Ecumenical Panel to share information and news. You can find out more HERE.
